RD Hospital was built in 1962 on about 22 bigha of land on the south-west side of Hardi village donated by Late Anisuzzaman Khan. Later, after the independence of Bangladesh, when upazila health complexes were established in each upazila, this RD hospital was converted into a full-fledged hospital with 31 beds. Since then this hospital has been providing health services. The 31-bed hospital is divided into 2 wards, male and female. It was later increased from 31 beds to 50 beds and was officially inaugurated on 26 November 2011. Upazila Health Complex is about 6 km from Alamdanga town. Located in the distant village of Hardi.
